GUI broken ?

Isn't a GUI utterly broken, when the status bar (of the main window (!)) says "Opening Main Window..." for half a minute ?

    applied Dadaism?
    As in "Keyboard error or keyboard not found. Press F1 to continue"
    Creators of these messages will be called "artists" in the future
