IMAP for Gmail - here's how to wait...

Although my gmail account is still not enabled for IMAP, I added an IMAP/Gmail account to my Thunderbird.
Now Thunderbird will check, if I'm already enabled.

I'll get the following error message until my account is enabled:

Easy. And says it all.

    I don't think it will work, because even if your gmail account gets imap, you'll have to activate it manually, like POP3 :)
    I don't have imap either, and it's hard to wait !

    what it does, though, is to remind me daily (thru the error message ;-) )
